The Government has now announced that you should only leave your home for one of these four reasons:

1) To shop for essential items (e.g. food & medicine)

2) To exercise once a day (on your own or with people you live with)

3) To fulfill any medical or care needs (e.g. essential GP appointments)

4) To travel to & from work, where absolutely necessary

Even when you are outside of your home, please keep at least 2 metres (6 foot) away from people who you do not live with

Some patients in very high risk groups will be asked to undertake social shielding for 12 weeks (stay at home at all times & avoid any face to face contact) - these patients will be contacted by post & the letter can be used as evidence for your employer.
